4. Advocats Big Band
Spend the first Monday of July with the Advocats Big Band. On Monday, July 7th we will inhabit the stage at The Duke Toronto from 7:45 to 10:15 pm. Yup! Our First-Monday-of-the-Month performances continue right through the summer months. Have a great dinner and drinks while you listen to two one-hour sets of big band favourites. It is always a blast! The Duke Toronto is located at 1225 Queen Street East at Leslie on the southwest corner. There is parking onsite and nearby, plus the Queen streetcar stops right in front! $15 cash cover (all proceeds go to the band). Reserve your table soon by calling 416-466-2624.

5. 24th Annual Globehead Comedy Tournament
GLOBEHEAD is Bad Dog’s annual short form improv tournament, and is now in its 24th year. Globehead is a hotly-contested Toronto comedy tradition and this year's lineup is packed with an incredible mix of veteran heavy-hitters, emerging comedy powerhouses, and “celebrity” judges - you never know who you might see!
