1. Near-Total Solar Eclipse
On April 8th, Toronto will be experiencing a near-total solar eclipse. Between 2:04 pm to 4:31 pm, Toronto is expected to have a near-total solar eclipse, with the peak expected to happen at 3:19 pm, where the Moon will obscure the majority of the Sun's light, immersing everyone into temporary darkness. 2. Cherry Blossoms
Cherry blossoms in Toronto typically bloom at the end of April to early May, but with the warmer weather, they may appear sooner this year. Whether you’re looking to take some photos of the cherry blossoms or just looking to soak in all the beautiful spring colours, there are many spots in the city where you can find cherry blossom trees.
3. Toronto Blue Jays Home Opener
The Toronto Blue Jays are back! Head over to the Rogers Centre to watch the Toronto Blue Jays home opener on April 8th against the Seattle Mariners. Cheer on Canada's baseball team.
