The 19th edition of Nuit Blanche returns this week. This popular art event will transform public spaces and cultural sites with exciting pieces of artwork. This year's theme, Translating the City, explores how urban life is reimagined through language, culture, and art, featuring over 85 projects by local, national, and international artists. The event also includes talks, tours, and workshops that offer a behind-the-scenes look into the creative process and artistic inspiration. 1. Free Senior In Home Support Program- Meals, Friendly Visiting in Scarborough
The Heritage Skills Development Centre is offering a free Senior In-Home Support Program, providing meal support, in-home care, friendly visits, and accompaniment for isolated seniors 65+ in Scarborough. This initiative supports seniors facing challenges, disabilities, or difficulty preparing meals, with the goal of enhancing their well-being and fostering community connection.
