The holidays are a great time for us to give back to our community. Get into the holiday spirit this year and support these amazing fundraisers happening in the city.
1. Support SickKids Foundation with a Pizza Nova Tote Bag
This holiday season, head over to Pizza Nova and pick up their 60th-anniversary tote bag to help raise funds for the SickKids Foundation. Pizza Nova will donate a portion of the proceeds from the tote bag towards the goal of raising $15,000 for health and scientific advancements. Head over and help support this great cause.

2. Giving Machine at Fairview Mall
The Giving Machine is here at Fairview Mall and is a great initiative that you gotta check out and support. The Giving Machine is an easy way to donate essential items to those in need this Christmas. 100% of your donated items go to those who need it most in your community and across the globe. Get to support local and global charities during the holiday season, like Daily Bread Food Bank, Unicef Canada, Covenant House and more.

3. Elevate & Celebrate: SAS’s Charity Fundraiser
Check out the Elevate & Celebrate: SAS’s Charity Fundraiser event that's happening on December 14th. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go towards supporting youth's mental health and equity-deserving groups.

4. Donate or Volunteer for an Agency
Give back to those in need this holiday season by making a donation or volunteering for an agency in your community. Click here for the full list of agencies. Each agency has listed the items that they need the most, such as gift cards, warming winter clothing and hygiene products. Some agencies also have volunteer opportunities as well.

5. The De Sario Family Festival of Lights
The De Sario Family Festival of Lights is an annual event that you need to check out and support. For the last 24 years, Amatore and Pasqua De Sario have been turning their North York neighborhood into a Festival of Lights to help raise funds for SickKids. Their home is decked out with hundreds of holiday lights and displays, so make sure you check it out this holiday season and donate to the SickKids foundation.

6. Daily Bread Holiday Food Drive
Head over to Monarch Tavern for the Holiday Food Drive event and get to support Daily Bread, an important food bank organization that operates in Toronto. The event will feature acoustic sets from 4 local artists while supporting a great cause. All profit from tickets will go directly to Daily Bread.

7. Miracle Pop-Up
If you're looking for a fun holiday-themed pop-up, while supporting a great cause, then you have to check out Miracle. This pop-up is filled with holiday-themed drinks, photo ops, Christmas trees and more. Entry to the event is $5, where a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Nellie’s Shelter. Plus, $1 of every drink sold will be donated to Nellie’s Shelter as well.

8. Feed The Hungry Stand-Up Comedy Show and Food Drive
Enjoy a night filled with laughs, while supporting a great cause. Entry to the event requires you to donate non-perishable items that will be donated to local food banks. Check out the show at Salto Restaurant and Bar for a great cause and time.
