November 4th is Cineplex Community Day and to celebrate, get to enjoy a morning of free family-friendly movies! In its 11th year, watch free movies on the big screen, while indulging in some of your favourite movie snacks, including popcorn, soft drinks, and select candy for only $2.50! What's best is that $1 from every food and beverage order and game band purchase throughout the day will support BGC Canada (formerly Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada).
Movies that you can watch for free include Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, Jumanji: The Next Level, and The Angry Birds Movie 2. Doors open at 9 am and click here for the list of participating locations. This year, guests can reserve their seats in advance for free online on the Cineplex app, or in theatres on a first-come, first-served basis.
New this year, The Rec Room and Playdium will be joining in on Cineplex Community Day! Only on the morning of November 4th, and starting at 9 a.m., The Rec Room across Canada and Playdium will be offering free gaming and select snacks and beverages for $2.50. Plus, $1 from the game band & food purchases throughout the entire day will go towards supporting youth empowerment programs! Every guest will receive a two-hour, non-redemption game band upon entry.
