Whether you're looking to take a stroll or go for a long hike, these trails are great to get out and explore. Here's our list of short and long trails in Toronto.
Short walking trails

1. Glen Stewart Ravine
2. Ontario Place Trillium Park
3. Toronto Music Garden
4. Beltline Trail
5. Edwards Gardens
6. Humber Bay Park
7. High Park
8. Don River Valley
Long trails

1. Burke Brook Ravine and Sherwood Park Trail (4.7km)
This trail has large areas where they permit unleashed dogs. If you're a dog owner and like to have your dog run free, this is a great trail for you.
2. Taylor Creek Trail (7.1km)
This trail is great for hiking, walking or cycling. Beautiful views of the forest, wildlife and plants throughout the trail.
3. West Humber River Recreational Trail (19km)
This is one of the longer trails, but it's well-shaded and wide. It also follows the river and is good for walking or biking.
4. Humber River Recreational Trail (8.2km)
Considered one of the more challenging routes, this popular area is known for birding, paddle sports and road biking. Dogs are also welcome while on a leash.
