Yorkville Murals returns to Toronto this August. Returning for its 5th year, this festival will feature a brand new theme called 'Empty Spaces.' The streets will be transformed into a cultural extravaganza that will feature captivating murals, inflatable art installations, art talks, music, live painting, pop-ups, and so much more.

2). Toronto Chinatown Festival 

Make your way to the Toronto Chinatown Festival this month. The event will feature a lion dance, cultural performances, street food vendors, and so much more.

3). Taste of the Danforth

After a 3-year break, Taste of the Danforth is making its return this month. This 3-day event beginning on August 11th will feature amazing food, music, and so much more! You don't want to miss one of the largest street festivals in Canada.

4). Free Outdoor Movies

There are a lot of free outdoor movies taking place in Toronto this month. Toronto Outdoor Picture Show, Movies Under the Stars, Movies at Sorauren Park Town Square, Films on Shortt, and more are offering free outdoor movies.

5). Toronto Korean Festival

Toronto Korean Festival is happening in Toronto this August. This is the biggest Korean festival in Canada. Be prepared to enjoy some amazing food, performances, games, and more. There will also be special performances from Fusion MC, JUST B, and Rolling Quartz.

9). Party 4 Paws Summer Pet Fair

13). Summer Music in the Garden

Enjoy a live and intimate music performance by the waterfront that is free for the public to enjoy. The concerts will showcase talented Canadian musicians, internationally acclaimed artists, and a variety of different music genres. The concerts take place on most Thursdays at 7 PM and Sundays at 4 PM.

14). Smorgasburg 

Smorgasburg is the ultimate foodie event. Smorgasburg "is the largest weekly open-air food market in America, attracting thousands of people to Brooklyn, Manhattan, Los Angeles and Miami each weekend to eat from dozens of local vendors." This event will be featuring 50 vendors every Saturday and will run until September 9th! Get to enjoy your cravings all in one spot! This event also offers free admission.
