1. 13th Annual Afro-Carib Fest
Afro-Carib Fest is a fantastic two-day outdoor party celebrating the diverse arts, culture, and history of the Afro-Caribbean community. With over 30,000 people attending, it features 30 live performances by more than 80 local artists, 80+ vendors, a fun parade, activities for kids, dance contests with prizes, drum circles, raffles, and much more! And the best part? It's all free!

2. The 5k Foam Fest
The 5K Foam Fest is a unique obstacle course, where participants tackle over 22 obstacles, including the world's largest inflatable waterslide, mud pits, and tons of foam! With family-friendly music pumping from 12,000 watts of sound, a free kids zone for the little ones, delicious food, local vendors, and a beer garden to celebrate your achievement, there's something for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a beginner, you can take on the course at your own pace—all obstacles are optional!

3. Canadian Wine Tasting Experience
Join for a wine tasting experience like no other! Set in a cozy studio lit by candlelight in downtown Toronto, you'll sample a selection of Canadian wines in a relaxed atmosphere.

5. Flamenco Dance Workshop with Isaac Tovar
There are many amazing flamenco dancers in the world, but that doesn’t mean they are all amazing teachers. But Isaac is! Not only as a flamenco dancer, but also as a ballet dancer, he has been trained since he was a child, so he is extremely strong at all the techniques required in flamenco. And that’s why he can help us so much in our dance. Needless to say about his beautiful choreographies!

6. Celebrate Summer with $7 Food and Drink Specials at Union Summer's Lucky Seven Summer Sundays

7. The 6th Annual Yorkville Murals: A Celebration of Art and Culture
Toronto’s most captivating art and muralism festival, Yorkville Murals, is returning on August 24-25, 2024. This year’s theme, "No Empty Spaces," promises to transform Yorkville Avenue from Bellair Street to Hazelton Avenue into a vibrant cultural celebration.Yorkville Murals 2024, now in its sixth year, will feature captivating murals, inflatables, art installations, live painting, art talks, music, dance battles, pop-up shops, and an evening block party. This festival, presented by Taglialatella Galleries and INK Entertainment and organized in partnership with the Bloor-Yorkville Business Improvement Area, builds on Yorkville’s historic reputation as an enclave of Toronto’s early twentieth-century art scene.

8. Dino Run at the Bentway
Dinosaurs will take over The Bentway, and kids and families of all ages are invited to participate in a DINO RUN! Dino lovers will get the chance to become Dino Explorers in a fun family activity, where dinosaur specialists will teach them about dinosaurs through song, dance, and games. Then, kids will be able to run around a big figure eight skate trail to chase and catch dinosaurs! Expect a fun and exciting outdoor dino adventure in a non competitive environment. All participants will be awarded with a Dino Medal at the end of the run, and a chance to win a prize. This activity welcomes kids of all ages, and family members are welcome to join in on the run too.
