Explore the stories and strength of Indigenous communities in Northern Ontario with "People of the Watershed: Photographs by John Macfie." Curated by Paul Seesequasis, this exhibit at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, with CONTACT Photography Festival, features over 100 photos from the 1950s and 1960s, showing life in Anishinaabe, Cree, and Anisininew communities.

5. 5th Annual WAYO Children's Festival
Award-winning arts organization Jamii (meaning “community” in Swahili) presents 5th Annual WAYO Children’s Festival in the heart of Toronto’s historic St. Lawrence Neighbourhood at Berkeley Castle and Berkeley Theatre from August 7th to August 11th. This festival will feature CORPUS, Clay and Paper Theatre, Drawing with Knives Shadows, Germaine Konji, Maulid Owino, Edwin Maina, and many more artists!
