Halloween was yesterday, and the team at Todotoronto hopes you had a scary good time! Much like Linda Belcher, many people see November 1st as the end of the spooky season and the beginning of the holiday season, and one of the recurring themes of the season is family. Schools take their winter break, people get time off work, and family members come from all over the world to spend time with their loved ones. With that in mind, we’ve compiled a list of some family-friendly activities that the whole crew can enjoy this month!
Enjoy Winterfest at Canada’s Wonderland
Bring the whole family to Winterfest, the holiday festival hosted by Canada’s Wonderland! The event features skating on Snow Flake Lake, live performances, millions of spectacular lights, and beautiful Christmas trees throughout the park!

Head Downtown for the Cavalcade of Lights
Cavalcade of Lights is back, and for many, marks the official start to the holiday season in Toronto! Nathan Phillips Square will come to life with a glittering tree, ice skating, and of course, gorgeous lights that will illuminate the city! See who stands out as the best skater in your family!

Have a Ball at Dave & Buster’s
If you’re looking for a place with great food, fun games, and something to do for the whole family, then make your way to Dave & Buster’s! The only two locations in Canada are less than an hour outside of the downtown core, and despite their reputation as a sports bar, have a Million Dollar Midway that kids can enjoy!

Celebrate Diversity in Literature at the FOLD Kids Book Fest
For the first time in three years, the Festival of Literary Diversity (FOLD) Kids Book Fest will be hosting in person-events! Over 20 events will be taking place as part of the festival, with the first three days of the festival (Tuesday the 8th through Thursday the 10th) hosting virtual events and the latter two days featuring physical events including live readings, workshops, and more!
