1). Bloor-Yorkville Ice Fest

Bloor-Yorkville Ice Fest presents Dreams & Fantasies! This event is filled with magical and beautiful ice sculptures. A walk across Bloor-Yorkville along with over 40 ice creations made from over 60,000 lbs of ice will make you feel like you are walking in a winter wonderland! 

Where: Village of Yorkville Park & throughout the Bloor-Yorkville Area

2). Hangar Skate

A new free skating experience is here this month! This pop-up skating rink will be located at The Hangar District in Downsview and will run every weekend in February (weather permitting). There will be free skating lessons in the afternoon and live DJs in the evenings ! Free skate rentals and helmets are available but will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests will also be able to get the chance to see the inside of an airplane hangar that is rarely open to the public to view!

3). KUUMBA Presented by TD Bank Group

This month-long event is Toronto's largest Black Futures Month celebration! In its 28th year, this event helps to support Black artists and culture! This event features music, workshops, dance, and literary events that helps to highlight contemporary artists and thought leaders from the Afro-diaspora here in Canada!

4). CBC - Being Black in Canada

February marks Black History Month. CBC will be hosting a special event to kick off Black History Month! Hosted by Odario Williams and Marcia Young, Being Black in Canada Live will feature Jully Black, and there will be several performances by a variety of different guests! Remember to reserve yourself a spot!

5). Skate at Evergreen Brick Works

6). Urban Exhibit

The 7th Annual Urban Exhibit is back! This free indoor market features over 85+ talented artists and artisans here in Toronto! If you are in the market for fashion, home decor, skincare, one of a kind items, then this market is a must! The event also features food vendors and DJ Kid Artik.

7). Winter Stations 2023

Winter Stations public exhibition is making its return. Winter stations invite the art and international design community to reimagine and rethink the lifeguard stations along the east-end beaches in Toronto for the winter season. Heading into its 7th year this February, see the new imaginations for the city!

8). Après Ski Weekends at the Distillery District 

Distillery District’s Après Ski Weekends are back! Celebrate the winter season by roasting marshmallows and sipping hot chocolate (plus mulled wine and beer for the adults) in Muskoka chairs around fire pits. Cozy up near the fire along with their blankets to stay nice and toasty!
